How BA in Mathematics, 8-12 degrees certified teacher, but what if you want to be a teacher later?

So I am now get my degree in mathematics for teachers certified to teach 8-grade math 12. I plan to get my Masters as well. What I was wondering if, after teaching a couple of years I want to go ahead and become a university professor. What would – what should I do? Get my doctorate? What more?
