Thankgiving Grandma ruined?

I am a mother of 35 years only with a girl of 10 years, and saw my mother with me, because of their health, ustedy Thanksgiving, my friend asked if I could spend the night (he had no family to come, only a small dinner for 3), and his father his mother was ill and had to work til 3 days of Thanksgiving, so I see a problem … For further help the kitchen, my mother locked herself in her room I asked what was wrong and said he did not want anyone to end today … Well .. that day will come and we all had fun making dinner .. the children have been very useful … They have even gone home to see his friend's father (who had a yukky cold) … and even when I offered him abundant food dish .. She sat with him and hitting anything (Thus, my dog has a big party), and even this morning .. that would'nt say a word … Have I done something wrong? I think the behavior that children are Absolutley … but still gives me the silent treatment just because I had a classmate to come and have fun ….
